To successfully complete the Canada admission process in your favorite Canada university,
please follow the steps discussed below:
1.Select Course of Study: research and choose your study course. There are various degree programs to
choose from. However, to select the course which suits your interest you might contact a course counselor.
A course counselor will guide you about the course prospects, program duration, employment prospects etc.
2. Select University: try to gather information about universities offering your chosen course of study.
Also collect details regarding the intakes, fee structure, campus life, job prospects, cost of living etc.
Make a list of the top Canada universities for international students and choose your university based
on your preferences.
3. Check University Admission Process: go to your selected university websites and check the
application process details, eligibility criteria, admission requirements etc. Check for scholarship
options, language test requirements and application submission deadlines.
4.Prepare your SOPs and LORs: while submitting your application form you have to submit an SOP
(statement of purpose) and 1-3 LORs (letters of recommendation) to the universities.
The SOP is an essay stating the purpose of your study abroad, your goals and aspirations, and how to intend to
contribute to the university and community.
An LOR is a letter which is written by an employer or professor stating the applicant’s personal personality
and professional performance.
5. Submit Application: go to the university website and Register. Fill in the application form and
make the application payment. Upload necessary documents like SOP, LORs, educational transcripts, fee
receipts etc. Furthermore, you can also apply for scholarships in Canada if meet the eligibility criteria.
6. Wait for Acceptance Letter: post submitting your application you have to wait to receive your
university acceptance letter. The status of your application as to your acceptance or rejection will be
informed to you at your registered email address. Once you get selected by a university, deposit
the admission fees.
7. Apply for Canada Study Permit : Indian students have to apply for a study permit to study
or work in Canada. Furthermore, after receiving a study permit, they will also be issued a TRV i.e.
Temporary Resident Visa automatically under the Canada admission process.
